Christmas Eve in 2013: Trip of Brotherhood in Malacca!!! :D

Yea, I finally had time to write about this since it's public holiday anyway :P

I was extremely excited and looking forward to this trip!
As it's already been a long time since my last vacation,
(Well as "vacation" I meant to leave KL! xD)
and the last time I went to Malacca was... When I was 7 years old? D:
And what makes me hyper was, I am gonna go there with the lovely PEOPLE!!!
Which were my Lordie John and Buddies: Mike + Tony :D

So this was where we had our first meal in Malacca! :D
We came here right after we reached here,
as we all wanted to eat the Chicken Rice Balls
It was crowded and we waited in the queue for quite a time
But it was worth to wait as the meal was great :D
Their services were good and efficient, 
and I especially liked the atmosphere here!
Felt great to eat in a place like this, antique-style eh? xD
Oh and the "八寶茶" was awesomely refreshing! :)
Really really thumbs up!

And yes! After recharging our energy with food,
We started our tour around The Red House.
Sadly it's in renovation /__\
But we are still managed to get pictures TEEHEE!
This spot reminds me of the year 2011
when I came here with a bunch of prefect friends
for an interacting activity with some Taiwan students.
This place is simply awesome and meaningful to me
because there were a lot of important memories :))))

And oh! If you were to shop some souveniers
You can try explore around the booths just at the Red House area,
Well for us we didn't buy any stuffs
We fooled around instead TEEHEE!

To be honest,
till now I didn't know
what exactly was the tower behind us xD
All I know it was a spinning "cookie"
that transfers people from the bottom
to the top of the tower.
I guess it would be amazing
to watch the Malacca town from there :D

And here we were at St. Paul's church! :D
I remembered my daddy brought me here when I was younger
And he told me stories but I forgot what they were now xD
This place seemed to be changed a lot
as I believed they had done a lot of renovations
and some modifications to protect the historical value of this place.

Not going to A'Famosa means you didn't visit Malacca!
So we did. xD

And it seemed like I looked as a model when I was with Lordie eh? xD

Then we went for dinner in the famous restaurant
called "Capitol Satay" :DD
We actually went there at around 5pm++
But DARN I was starved for 3 hours++ 
just to wait in a queue QAQ
Because it was famous and lots of people were going for it
And the restaurant was small 
that only consist of 10 tables
So it required a lot of time to wait
but ITS WORTH FOR IT!!!! :D

After this meal then we went back
to our hotel to rest and recharge! :)

The 2nd day started with a KFC meal and yes.
The chickens here were bigger and meatier compared with KL's xD
You shall never miss out Malacca's coconut shake!!
It's nearby a place called Pantai Klebang
The coconut shake here was really refreshing and nice
I could taste some coconut milk, coconut water 
and crushed coconut flesh in it
Really yummy and it wasn't too sweet :>

We were supposed to visit Pantai Klebang the beach
but since we failed to find the actual beach
we went straight for the Durian Cendol
It was reallyyyy good :)
You can buy a lot of traditional food in here too
Ahhh.
Brings me back to the day where we all praising
how great was the durian cendol 
with the Taiwan friends as well x)

We actually went for the River Cruise but I didn't take pictures of them

as I was really tired with an unexpected cold-caused running nose :(

So Mike was the one to capture the special tour...

So after had some tea-time and a ride
we gotta walk back to get our car
so we could head to the Portugese Village for Dinner!! :D

So here it is Portugese Village!
According to John's explanation,
it is a tradition for the Portugese to decorate their houses
as they are having competition among the villagers.
On the day of Christmas Eve,
villagers will set booths to sell things
and houses were decorated nicely.
Well, though I am a Buddhist
who don't really celebrate Christmas in my family
But I enjoy seeing others to have fun
and exploring the difference of the cultures :D

After all the pictures of sunset we then had our dinner
at their restaurant just nearby.
And my goodness Portugese-baked meals are soooooooooooooooooo
DELICIOUS-AND-FINGER-LICKERING
It was spicy, a bit sour and savory but very refreshing taste! xDD

And so this is a really brief summary post about how the trip was,
just feel like wanted to write this down because it was one of my best moments! :')

Really gotta thanks to Lordie who made the booking and drove us
So the other 2 Buddies could join us the trip,
(We paid for the bills together oh yeahhh xD)
But well FINALLY! I am really glad that we are able to escape from our problems,
dumb all the stress in Malacca together :D

I truly enjoyed how we can be ourselves when we were together,
and we often have things to tease each other I guess? xD
It's really amazing that how some friends are meant to be,
Because the time of knowing someone
isn't necessarily to determine the closeness of friendship
For instance, I actually met these two Buddies like recently o.o
Well I met Tony earlier than Mike, I met Mike like just 2 months ago xD
However, they appeared to be one of my closest buddies (as in bros)
I can't help but to LOVE them unconditionally 
because we were all so MATCH from any aspects! 

Lucky to have such buddies to welcome the 2014 as well! :D

Regardless of what had happened in 2013,

Good ones or bad ones, it was meant to be over.

I am grateful that I had such moments 

which formed a better me, and a more colorful life :)
